interested in our group?
We are always eager for enthusiastic, intellectually curious, hard-working and fun students to join our team. In our group, you will do cross-disciplinary research at the interface of biophysics, biochemistry, cell and molecular biology, analytical and physical chemistry, optics and materials science. We welcome group members regardless of race, religion, gender identification, sexual orientation, age, or disability status. We believe that our diversity of experiences and backgrounds, both personal and scientific, makes us a stronger and more creative team of scientists. Please contact Erin Sheets for more information. We participate in the Chemistry & Biochemistry and the Integrated Biosciences graduate programs. UMD undergraduates can volunteer, take Chem 3194 for credit, or participate in the University of Minnesota Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP). Undergraduates often work in our group through Chemistry & Biochemistry's Swenson Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP).
